4/6 HOUR PROGRAM: $600/$750

  • M - 1 Bottle Drive - 1 Adult & 1 Athlete  = $150
  • M - 2 x 3hr each Competition shifts = $150
  • M - 1 x 3 hr cleaning bee shift = $75
  • O- Remaining optional items = $225/$375

9 HOUR PROGRAM: $900

  • M - 1 Bottle Drive - 1 Adult & 1 Athlete  = $150
  • M - 2 x 3hr each Competition shifts = $150
  • M - 2 x 3 hr cleaning bee shift = $150
  • O - Remaining optional items = $450

12/15  HOUR PROGRAM: $1050/$1200

  • M - 1 Bottle Drive - 1 Adult & 1 Athlete  = $150
  • M - 2 x 3hr each Competition shifts = $150
  • M - 2 x 3 hr cleaning bee shift = $150
  • O - 1 Committee = $300 (equivalent to 12 hrs of mtgs/offsite tasks)(Shifts on site for events counted separately)
  • O - Remaining optional items = $600/$750

Mandatory commitments for the Buyout Bucket list program are as follows:
  • September Bottle Drive 
  • DGC Invitational Competition Shift or major fundraising event 
  • One Cleaning Bee
Remaining buyout requirements can be earned through:
  • Ticket sales
  • Committee work
  • Fundraising item Sales
  • Additional Cleaning Bees
  • Run Wild – volunteering
  • Other items as assigned throughout the year

BOARD

The DGC Board is comprised of up to 10 members. 

The Board is a Governance Board and DOES NOT deal with administrative operations but rather general governance and policy.

Commitment is:

  • 9 mtgs a season
  • policy review
  • financial review
  • committee rep 

RAFFLES

DGC is a not for profit organization that is funded by program revenue, grants, sponsorship and fundraising.

Raffles may comprise of :

  • 50/50 draws
  • prize draws

PRODUCT SALES

As part of fundraising, DGC sells products through outh the year to raise additional funds.

  • Poinsettia campaign
  • Spring flower campaign
  • Winter Scarves campaign
  • Other campaigns suitable for product sales

COMPETITION COMMITTEE

DGC hosts an annual Invitational in March for Competitive athletes.

This event requires a committee to help coordinate with the senior team the following:

  1. SCORING
  2. ADMISSION
  3. TICKET SALES
  4. MC/AUDIO
  5. CONCESSION
  6. HOSPITALITY

COMPETITION SHIFTS

DGC hosts an annual Invitiational in March for Competitive athletes.

This event requires helpers and various areas such as:

  • setup & tear down of equipment
  • judging table helpers
  • canteen helpers
  • hospitality
  • admissions
  • ticket sales
  • general cleaning
  • scoring
  • medical assistance

SILENT AUCTION COMMITTEE

This fundraiser is hosted by DGC annually. We have currently gone to electronic ONE DAY event, but have in the past combined this with a PUB NIGHT. This would be dependent on the current health regulations at the time of the event.

BANQUET COMMITTEE

This committee starts n January to help plan the year end Award Banquet.

MISCELLANEOUS

Throughout the season we will call upon the parents to assist in cleaning bees, and other miscellaneous needs
